Date: 2007-11-29 English The end of a system of things, Henning Lundkvist’s debut album for Komplott, has now been released. Lundkvist, who has previously presented his work in Komplott’s digital catalogue (2002), has in recent years been working with other means of expression. The current album is based on a number of conceptually and visually thematic performances in galleries throughout Sweden and Europe. In addition to the album release, Lundkvist is also the composer and sound engineer of a much noted play, which is presently being performed at Teatr Weimar in Malmö, Sweden.
The album consists of a 32 minute piece. The core in Lundkvist’s work is a sound play of sampled material – voices and sounds, as well as text and images from the media of film and literature, which is based around a post-apocalyptic theme. It is a sound experience that uses the power of the visual media as well as silences, sound gaps and voids to create new meaning. The album marks the entry into a suggestive and filmic narration where sounds, images and text have been separated and put together again. The image and text collages of the booklet further underscores the dissolving of the previous order of things, marking the end of civilization – The End. Fin.
The CD will be released in a very limited edition and on sale for only 100 SEK (10.66 EUR, freight included) until the 7th of December.

Date: 2007-11-09 Svenska Fredagen den 30 November framför Andreas Bertilsson för första gången material från det kommande albumet "Det fysiska och det psykiska". Tillsammans med Thomas Öberg, Linus Sjölund, Sofia Dahlgren och Adam Lindblom utlovas en kort urladdning på 10 minuter med videoprojektion av David Krantz.
Vi kan också meddela att albumet släppas februari 2008, men att det innan dess kommer att släppas en singel med ett av spåren från albumet. "Sett allt, inget förstått" trycks i en begränsad upplaga på 7"vinyl.

Date: 2007-09-11 Svenska På sitt kommande album, "Det fysiska och det psykiska", samarbetar elektronicakompositören Andreas Bertilsson med Thomas Öberg från Bob Hund. Albumet anger en helt ny riktning för Bertilsson som här arbetat helt med akustiskta instrument. Tillsammans med Öbergs unika texter uppstår tankemasserande musik olik det mesta med svensk produktionstämpel.
Musikjournalisten Lennart Persson skriver i sin omslagstext om samarbetet att "svensk jazztradition möter den skiraste av skira knister/knaster-elektronik, poesin kastar sig i famnen på rocken. Det är en alldeles självklar, men nästan överrumplade skönhet som bjuds." Arbetet med skivan har pågått sedan hösten 2006. Något officiellt releasedatum för skivan är ännu inte bestämt.

Date: 2007-04-10 English Today we announce the release of Hanna Hartman's second appearance on this label. Ailanthus is built out of four shorter pieces composed during 2003-2006. Compared to the large compositions of her earlier albums this music shows another side of Hanna Hartman's work. The album opens with "Att fälla grova träd är förkippat med risker" that was commissioned by Rikskonserter and which received several prizes, first and foremost the prestigious Karl Sczuka Prize in 2005. "The history of electronic music" is a subjective history book based upon Sundin's background as a musician and record collector consisting of portraits of fellow electronic composers, influential persons he met, severeal key figures and events, records and instruments. The book is designed by Lasse Marhaug, published by noCube in collaboration with Häpna. The edition has 100 pages, H 21 x W 14,8 cm, 300 copies only, a small amount available through Sundin's site and from Häpna!

This piece was originally comissioned by the Swedish National Radio in 2004 and released on CD by Komplott in 2005. The Phonurgia Nova competition has, since 1986, occupied a special place by virtue of its recognition of artists whose work exploits sound as a medium for expressing the real and the imaginary.

Arbetet med skivan har tagit ett år och är det starkaste arbetet som Bertilsson hittills släppt ifrån sig. Musiken är en direkt vidareutveckling av albumet "Two Abstract Paintings" och liveframträdandena som följde året därpå. Ronnie Sundin och All Spec Kit kommer samma kväll att köra varsitt DJ-set. Hans Appelqvist new CD, Naima, is now released on Häpna. This is the follow up album to the 2004 album "Bremort". The record is about Naima, an entity who in different ways is present to the persons on the album. Sometimes she interferes with their lives and speaks directly to them, sometimes her presence is only communicated through her musical theme, Naimamelodin (Naima’s melody).
Naima is available at our order section together with other Appelqvist releases. There is only 4 copies left of Appelqvist debut album Tonefilm from 2002. Theres is no plans of repressing this album at the moment.
Appelqvist's EP

The Xiao Fang EP was originally released on Mjäll a few months before Appelqvist's debut album Tonefilm in 2001. On this EP Appelqvist works with field-recordings from China done during his stay there the summer of 2000. This beautiful 10" vinyl EP was pressed in a limited edition of 500 copies and the few copies we had available at our mailorder sold out rapidly. The Mjäll label's initiator Bo-Stefan Lundkvist decided to finish his business short after the record was released and we thought that this record sold out. But apparently a few copies was actually returned to Mjäll and they have collected dust in the attic since then.
We are now glad to announce that we have a few more copies available so there's a new chance to pick up this rare and stunning release by Appelqvist.

Date: 2006-10-19 English Tsukimonons Études is five short selections cut out from longer recordings made in Malmö during the summer of 06. This is his second release in the Komplott bull series catalogue and the first output in this section since april 2005.

This will be his third album release on the label and his first appearance since the acclaimed full length release ”Two Abstract Paintings”, released on Mitek last year. This album is a compilation of digital birdcalls inspired by the Swedish National Radio show “Månadens pausfågel”. This program went recently off air after 42 years and this compilation is a celebration where a number of Swedish sound artists interpret some of the songbirds around.

Date: 2005-09-01 English Malmö's museum of contemporary art, Rooseum, will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Malmö Art Academy by inviting 117 artist who have issued from the Art Academy to an exhibition at the museum. Sound artist Andreas Bertilsson is one of the invited artist. The exhibition will open up September the 2nd and last until the 16th of October.
Hanna Hartman at Göteborg Art Sounds 2005

Date: 2005-09-01 Svenska Hanna Hartman will attend the fourth edition of the Göteborg Art Sounds Festival that will take place at the beginning of October. An interactive sound installation entitled CAN MAN will be available from the first of October. Hartman will also perform later the same day at Röda Kvarn. Date: 2005-08-27 English The next CD and Hanna Hartman's first appearance on Komplott will be available from the 23 of September. Hartman last CD was released by swedish label Elektron a couple of years ago and we are very glad to bring her works to the publics attention. Until now the two compositions of the album,/ Longitude 013° 26' E / and / Cratere,/ which were originally commissioned pieces for the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation and Deutschland, have only been available to the public as radio broadcasts. The music is not dependent on the medium of radio however, but consists of concrete sounds composed as independent pieces .....

Malmö based sound artist and Starfield Simulation member Ronnie Sundin new album Hägring is now available at our mailorder shop. This album is released on the Barcelona label Antifrost and is the third and final part the Hypnagogic trilogy that started with Sleepwalk and Morphei which is based upon a fascination for wake dreaming, auditory hallucinations and the memory of sound. Composed using delicate field recordings, computer processed sounds, vibrating piano and guitar strings to create a sensitive dreamlike state. Or was it just a mirage?
